Various types of diets with claims to lose weight quickly are now widely offered. One type of diet that is currently popular is the DEBM or it is called the Delicious Happy Fun Diet (DEBM).
The DEBM diet was created by Robert Hendrik Liembono who managed to lose weight through this diet. This diet is in great demand because it is claimed to be effective in losing weight quickly. You are interested in trying it? Check out more information about the DEBM diet in this article.
What is the DEBM Diet?
Unlike other diets that reduce your intake of certain foods and calories that enter the body, DEBM actually allows you to eat any food and you don’t have to exercise. Even though you can eat whatever food you want, on the DEBM diet, you are only allowed to eat foods high in protein, high in fat, and low in carbohydrates. This is because carbohydrates contribute to increasing calorie levels. In addition, if it is not balanced with exercise or physical activity, calories will accumulate even more, thus triggering weight gain. This is why DEBM focuses on significantly limiting carbohydrate intake.
To stay energized while on the DEBM diet, it is recommended that you eat high-protein foods at breakfast and dinner, such as eggs, nuts, seeds, tofu and tempeh, lean meat, fish and seafood, and dairy products. DEBM also allows you to eat foods high in fat and flavorings.
DEBM Meal Rules
When carrying out DEBM, sugar intake is not allowed at all, both pure sugar and other processed sugars, for example honey, syrup and soy sauce. In addition, here are some types of food that are not allowed during DEBM:
- Drinks high in sugar, such as sweetened tea, juice with added sugar, chocolate milk or soda.
- Rice, bread, noodles, cereals, pasta and other flour-based foods.
- High-carbohydrate fruits, such as melons, watermelons, papayas and bananas.
- High-starch vegetables, such as beets, squash, sweet potatoes, and potatoes.
Meanwhile, various types of food are recommended to be consumed while running DEBM, namely:
- Fatty fish, such as tuna and salmon.
- Egg.
- Tofu and tempeh.
- Beef and poultry.
- Milk and its processed products, such as cream, cheese, yogurt and butter.
- High-fat fruits, such as avocado.
- Nuts.
- Grains.
- Low-starch vegetables, such as beans, broccoli, carrots, cauliflower and other green vegetables.
Even though it is claimed to be able to lose weight quickly, the DEBM diet is not recommended for people with certain diseases, such as chronic kidney failure. In addition, significantly reducing carbohydrate intake may cause some side effects, such as headaches, muscle cramps, and constipation.
If you want to run DEBM, you should be careful in choosing the intake of fat consumed. Don’t eat foods high in trans and saturated fats, such as fried foods, baked goods, red meat, margarine, butter or potato chips. Before starting the DEBM diet or any diet, it is recommended that you consult a nutritionist, especially if you have certain diseases. That way, you avoid risks or side effects that are harmful to your health.
