Here’s how to access it and run the TPM troubleshooter to fix common TPM module issues in Windows 11.

First, open the Windows Security app.

You can do this by clicking on the menu Start and browse”Windows Security“. Then, below Best matchclick Windows Security application.

Next, click on the link Security processor details under Security processor.

On page Security processor detailsselect a link Security processor troubleshooting to open the troubleshooter page.

On that page, you will find three sections: “Error message,”“TPM Troubleshooter ,”And “Remove TPM.”

Click button run under TPM Troubleshooter to find and fix problems with your TPM.

Below are some messages you may see when your device’s TPM module is not working properly.

A firmware update is required for your security processor (TPM). TPM is disabled and requires attention. TPM storage is not available. Remove your TPM. Device health authentication is not available. Remove your TPM. Device health authentication is not supported on this device. Your TPM is not compatible with your firmware and may not work properly. Missing TPM metered boot log. Try restarting your device. There is a problem with your TPM. Try restarting your device.

If Troubleshooter is unable to fix the problem, you may want to select one Remove TPM to reset the security processor to its default settings.

Be sure to back up your data before removing the TPM.
