What You Need to Know Before Turning Off HP Instant Ink

Here’s a few things you should pay attention to before turning off or canceling your HP instant ink account. Although HP allows unused pages to be rolled over from this month to the next month, you will lose any remaining scrolled pages after canceling your HP instant ink account. If you still have a large number of rollover pages remaining, you can finish printing them before canceling the plan. Consider canceling the service at the end of the month for instant cancellation and avoid additional fees. If you cancel your account early, you can still continue printing with instant ink cartridges until the end of the billing period. You may incur additional fees if you cancel your instant ink package before one year of subscription. You will find out about the additional fees at the time of cancellation. You should use regular ink cartridges from an authorized printer shop after canceling the HP instant ink pack. Your printer will block printing if you do not replace the instant ink cartridge with a regular ink cartridge after cancellation. You cannot use an ink cartridge that is enrolled in an HP instant ink package with other printers. After the instant ink pack has been cancelled, be prepared to package the instant ink cartridge and ship it back to HP. You can store it at the nearest HP collection center.

How to turn off HP Instant Ink?

Open official website HP instant ink. Enter your HP account username and password to log in to the HP instant ink portal. Select your printer from the dropdown Select Printers. If only one printer is enrolled in the HP instant ink program, that printer is selected by default. Click Change Package in the Package Details. Once you’re in Update Package move down to the panel Plan Details and click on the highlighted link. You must select the reason why you want to cancel the HP instant ink package. You can select anything from your choice. Continue cancellation. Understand some of the terms and conditions of cancellation from HP and press Complete Cancellation.
