Windows 11 will get a new TPM troubleshooter option. This option is available through the Windows Security application. It’s unclear when this feature will roll out to everyone.
Microsoft added new advanced options in the Windows Security app to troubleshoot and fix issues with the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) in Windows 11. Starting with build 25905 on the Canary Channel, the Windows Security app includes an updated “Security processor troubleshooting” with new options to troubleshoot various problem with the security module.
You can find the page”Security processor troubleshooting”at Windows Security > Device Security > Security processor details (under the “Security processors” section) and clicking options “Security processor troubleshooting” at the bottom of the page. Within the page, you will find three sections, including “Error messages”, “TPM Troubleshooter”, and “Remove TPM”.
“TPM Troubleshooter” is the new setting on the page (via PhantomOcean3). If the system detects any vulnerabilities or issues with the security module, you can use the troubleshooter to resolve the issue.

You can only run the troubleshooter if a module has a problem. If the module has no problems, you will receive a message “No TPM vulnerabilities found”.

“Error message” and settings “Clear TPMs” always there a long time ago. The “Error messages” setting displays any errors the TPM module encounters. For example, you may see the message “Unable to get TPM information. Contact your device manufacturer.” And the option “Clear TPM” includes a setting to remove the security module in case of a problem or if you are preparing your device for shutdown.
It’s rare to find problems with TPM Modules, but as software giants make requirements for installing operating systems, the number of bugs, vulnerabilities, and attempts to get past them has increased many-fold, and it’s great to see companies adding more ways to troubleshoot and solve problems.
This new option is available in the latest Windows 11 preview via the Canary Channel, but it’s unclear when it will roll out to everyone.
